DECEMBER GEAR DRIVE

Geartrade has teamed up with the Gear Fund collective to collect used gear for the Holidays. Come join us on December 15th from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Front Climbing Club SLC location.

The Who:

Geartrade is teaming up with The Front Climbing Club and you for a donation drive to benefit the Gear Fund Collective. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, The Gear Fund Collective was started in the spring of 2021 by a few members of the local climbing community who saw a need for a mutual aid group that donates outdoor gear free of charge. The group prioritizes BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, and people with disabilities. They also redistribute items in bulk to organizations like We Climb and Climbers of Color and to the unsheltered communities in Salt Lake City directly,

The What:

From December 1st through December 15th donate your clean, functioning outdoor gear by dropping it off at The Front Climbing Club SLC and South Main locations and then come visit us for our donation event at The Front Climbing Club SLC location on December 15th from 5 to 8 pm. All donations go to the Gear Fund Collective.

The When:

Wednesday December 15th from 5 pm to 8 pm.

The Why:

Not only are you finding a good home for your clean, functioning outdoor gear that benefits the Gear Fund Collective, but there is also a raffle where you can win Ortovox gear.
