What is Geartrade?

Geartrade is where adventurists buy and sell the gear they love for the outdoors they need. Our goal is to keep outdoor gear in the outdoors. Not in the landfill. Individuals, retailers and brands come here to sell used, returned, repaired and quality outdoor gear.

I never received my verification email. How can I confirm my account?

Sometimes these emails get filtered into your junk or spam mail folder. Simply mark the email as “not spam”, so you'll receive our emails moving forward. If it's not there, send us an email, and we'll fix this for you.

How do I return an order?

We offer a generous no-questions-asked 14 day return policy. Not the right fit or just don't like the color? Return it.

Refund Requirements

  • The item needs to be in the same condition we sent it to you (keep those tags on).
  • All returns must be postmarked within 14 days from the date of delivery of an item.
  • Original purchased shipping charge is not refunded when returning items.
  • All items are subject to a $3.99 restocking fee
  • Refunds will be issued back to your original form of payment. 
  • Final sale items are not returnable

Redo Returns and Shipping Insurance

We offer our customers the ability to purchase Redo Returns and Shipping Insurance at checkout. By purchasing Redo at checkout:

  • Your return shipping label is included, allowing you to easily return eligible items for a refund or store credit and bypassing any shipping label or restocking fees.
  • The $3.99 restocking fee will be waived when you purchase Redo
  • Your order is covered for issues that may arise during the shipping process. This includes Lost Packages (no delivery confirmation), Damaged items, and Stolen Packages (delivered but taken after delivery)
  • If a covered event happens, you can file a claim and receive an expedited resolution for lost, damaged, and stolen packages.  

If you choose not to buy Redo, you can still return your items under our generous no-questions-asked 14 day return policy, but you'll be responsible for return shipping label costs and restocking fees.

When do I get paid?

After the order has been delivered, and the return window has passed (14 days), your payment will appear in your account. From here, you can choose to be paid in store credit or via PayPal, or Venmo - whatever method you choose, at no additional cost!

My tracking number is showing no information. Is my order lost?

It may take 24-48 hours for tracking information to appear on the carriers website. Often the package is headed to you before it receives its first scan. If tracking is unavailable after 48 hours, send us an email and we'll help you out.

I just bought an item accidentally. How can I cancel my order?

Please send us an email right away.

If we can stop the shipment before it's picked up, we can cancel the order for you. Time is of the essence, so the sooner you let us know, the better.
