Geartrade sponsors the International Climbers' Festival
Summer has officially started as of today, and July is just around the corner, which means it’s time for one of our favorite climbing festivals.
The International Climbers' Festival, which runs from July 14th-17th, is all about bringing the community of climbing together, and they have been doing so since 1994. The rich history of this festival started with the vision of legendary Todd Skinner and a few Lander, Wyoming locals in order to bring climbers from all around the world together.
As the years went on, the annual festival grew into a non-profit organization called the Central Wyoming Climbers’ Alliance (CWCA) in 2014. Under this mission, and the funds that come from the festival each year, the CWCA is able to advocate for public lands, environmental stewardship, and support youth climbing programs in the region.
While
Geartrade won’t have a booth this year, we are sponsoring a few of the raffle items. You can win
packs and
fleeces from Ortovox and lots of amazing gear from other brands and sponsors. Support a great cause, have fun at the festival, and have a chance to win some amazing gear.
We are thrilled to be a part of the festival again. Tickets will sell out so get yours before they are gone.
