Stasher bags are made from platinum, food-grade silicone and meet safety standards for food products from the FDA and EU regulators. They can withstand heat up to 425°F (218.33°C), are dishwasher safe, AND can be stored in the freezer. These sweet baggies replace traditional sandwich bags that are typically less durable and harder to properly recycle. Not to mention Stasher offers a program with
TerraCycle to help recycle the silicone properly once it’s at the end of its life (which we promise will not be any time soon.)
How do you integrate these into your life you might ask? We’re here to tell ya! Aside from Stasher bags being phenomenal for transporting your sandwiches or snacks, they also work amazingly well as freezer bags! Here, we’ve saved some bell peppers that were on the brink of death in the refrigerator and stored them for later!
While they might not be the most weight friendly option, stasher bags like the ones we have on site are perfect for carrying easy meals while backpacking. Whether it’s dry oatmeal or your own dehydrated dinner, the stasher snack bag is the perfect choice as it performs double duty as a bowl!
Not to get weird, but Stasher bags are pretty good at locking in the smell of whatever is inside. We’re not saying they’re odor proof, but could you store dirty...articles of clothing (see where we’re going with this?) in them while you make your way back from a vacation? You betcha! These bags can even be used for organizing toiletries, or baby clothing while on the go.
Got a hole in your Stasher bag? Yeah, we’ve done it too, but that doesn’t mean the bag is gone for good! There are a variety of things you can store in these that don’t need proper sealing. In the photo below, we’ve used it for various chargers we’d otherwise be scrambling to find around the house. But, let it be known that it also works for different documents you need to keep in one place, art supplies, or a makeup/personal care bag.
