Carving through a morning chalk-dust layer requires gear that thinks as fast as you do, and the DPS Kaizen 105 finds that elusive sweet spot between composure and pure, unadulterated liveliness. By pairing this chassis with the Salomon Strive 14 MN bindings, you get a setup that feels like an extension of your own nervous system, translating micro-adjustments into decisive, fluid movements. The Kaizen construction ditches the overly stiff, plank-like feel of traditional all-mountain tools in favor of a snappy, responsive energy that thrives when you’re hunting for creative lines through tight glades or opening up the throttle in a vast, wind-buffed bowl. Whether you are navigating erratic spring corn or finding flow in mid-winter chop, the rockered profile ensures a smooth, intuitive transition edge-to-edge, keeping the ride damp enough to absorb the chatter of firm snow while retaining the pop needed to launch off natural features.
