Even though our partner doesn't how much money we've really put into our rod and reel, we do—which is why we protect our outfit with Simms' Tailwind Rod & Reel Vault. This padded case features several dividers and zippered accessory pockets to transport our rods, reels, and tackle safely in the back of our truck, in an overhead compartment, and on our back as we're hiking to a blue line stream that hasn't been named. The removable shoulder harness is a nice touch, letting us haul our rods backpack-style if our hands are full with other bags or we need to run from terminal to terminal to catch our Alaskan flight.
