Its two-way stretch nylon face fabric improves comfort and mobility, while underarm gussets help the jacket move more naturally during hikes, scrambles, and climbs. Black Diamond added DWR armpit zips for ventilation, which makes it easier to regulate heat output during long climbs or fast-paced travel. An adjustable hood is sized to work with a climbing helmet, and the YKK Aquaguard center front zipper reinforces the shells weather-ready build. When the skies clear, the jacket packs into its right-hand pocket and includes a carabiner clip loop for compact carry.
