The shorts use a polyester four-way stretch woven fabric with a quick-dry finish, helping them move smoothly on the wall and recover fast after water, sweat, or changing conditions. That fabric is built in a 139 gsm construction, giving the shorts a light feel while still holding up well for active use. The elastic waist keeps the fit simple and comfortable, making them easy to pull on for everything from crag laps to post-climb swims. Black Diamond added two front hand pockets plus a single flapped back patch pocket with secure Velcro closure, so there is room for small essentials without adding bulk. The 5.5-inch inseam offers practical coverage and a movement-friendly profile, and the total weight stays exceptionally light at 107 grams.
