When the sequence requires absolute trust in your toe placement, the Tenaya Mastia transforms the rock surface into a canvas for precise, aggressive movement. This shoe excels where the wall tilts back, utilizing a pronounced downturn and an integrated heel cup that locks your foot into a state of permanent readiness. Whether you are navigating the glassy, polished slopers of a local circuit or locking onto razor-thin edges on a steep limestone project, the Vibram XS Grip rubber delivers the friction necessary to stick moves that feel impossible from the ground.
