Whether you’re scrambling over sun-bleached granite or navigating the damp brush of a coastal forest, these Columbia shorts provide the reliability needed to stay focused on the horizon. Crafted from quick-drying nylon, the fabric is treated with advanced repellency to fend off mud splashes and surprise drizzles, while integrated sun protection acts as a barrier during long afternoons in open meadows. The six-inch inseam strikes a balance between total freedom of movement and practical coverage, complemented by an internal belt system that keeps everything secure through high-stepping terrain. With a thoughtful layout of hand, cargo, and zip-closed pockets, you can carry a map, a snack, and your keys without worrying about them slipping out mid-stride. These are built for those who prefer to keep moving, offering a light, unencumbered feel that makes the transition from a dusty trailhead to a post-hike stop in town feel entirely seamless.
