Carving through the morning corduroy and ducking into hidden side-stashes feels entirely different when you have the right board beneath your feet. The Salomon Dancehaul Grom Snowboard shrinks down the legendary, surf-inspired personality of its big-mountain sibling, offering a snappy platform that makes the entire mountain feel like a personal playground. Built with a responsive Aspen wood core and a versatile Rock Out Camber profile, this board balances the stability needed for high-speed laps with the forgiving flex required to lock into rail slides or pop off natural side hits. Its directional twin shape thrives in varied conditions, providing enough float to hunt for fresh lines after a storm, yet remaining nimble enough to pivot quickly through tight glades.

    TECH SPECS
  • Rocker Type: Rock Out Camber: Flat between your bindings for stability, camber near the feet for response, and rocker on the tip/tail for pressability.
  • Flex (1-5): 4
  • Shape:
    • Tapered Directional: Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.
    • Radial Sidecut: Radial is the classic sidecut for consistent response forward and switch.
  • Core:
    • Popster: Popster's shaped core profile is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.
    • Aspen Strong Core: CNC-selected high-density wood strips for the inserts and rail zones results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush.
    • FSC Certified Wood Core
  • Laminates: Biaxial Low Density Fiberglass: Low-density fibers allow for lighter boards that keep their playful forgiving flex forever.
  • Sidewalls: ABS Sidewalls
  • Base: Sintered Base, Fine Stone Finish
  • Edges: All-Mountain Edge Bevel
  • Binding Compatibility: 2 x 4
  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Powder
  • Ability Level: Intermediate - Advanced
