Underfoot, a double-injection DuraPU midsole absorbs shock across long descents and uneven ground, and the MONOWRAP frame wraps the midsole up through the lower sidewall for a level of lateral stability that makes off-camber terrain feel far less precarious. The full-length nylon shank adds rigidity where you need it most, and the Vibram Evo outsole delivers traction on wet rock, packed dirt, and loose trail alike. The gusseted tongue seals out debris on brushy singletrack, and the women's specific last means the fit is shaped around the actual geometry of a woman's foot rather than a scaled-down men's version. These are boots that disappear on your feet after the first few miles, which is exactly what a great hiking boot should do.
