The sharp crunch of granite beneath your boots sets the rhythm for the day, and these Black Diamond Alpine Pants are built to keep pace without a stutter. Engineered from a robust, four-way stretch softshell, they shed light mist with a reliable DWR finish while maintaining the airflow needed during high-output scrambles toward the ridgeline. The cut prioritizes fluid movement, with articulated knees that never catch or bind when you are high-stepping onto a technical ledge or navigating a steep, loose scree slope. With a suite of four zippered pockets keeping your essentials secure and an integrated belt providing a custom, low-profile fit beneath a harness, these pants disappear into the background, leaving you entirely focused on the route ahead rather than your gear. Whether you are committing to a long-distance approach at dawn or enduring the shifting winds of an alpine col, the construction balances rugged resilience with a weightless feel that thrives in the vertical world.
