The jacket is also treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellent), which helps to repel water from the fabric surface, making it an excellent choice for wet weather adventures.  In addition to its superior waterproofing, the REI Co-op Rainier Rain Jacket is also windproof up to 60mph, providing excellent protection against harsh winds. The jacket features a hood that conveniently stows away when not in use, ensuring you're always prepared for sudden changes in weather. For those warmer, humid days, the jacket is equipped with pit zips, allowing for increased ventilation and breathability.
