This versatile mountain machine comes with a medium-stiff flex, the quick convenience of a TLS speed lacing system, and, most importantly, Nitro's new Vibram Backcountry Outsole that's made of Icetrek and Arctic Grip Vibram rubber. The advanced TLS  lacing system ensures a comfy and secure fit every time, and when the riding's done for the day, simply give the Bail Out tab a quick pull and the shell opens without a fuss.

Nitro's upgraded Cloud 8 Liner ensures a comfortable, lightweight fit thanks to a pre-molded Thermalight material that makes up this supportive backcountry liner, while the Therminator Shield acts as a thermal layer between sole and liner to bounce back your own body heat. An innovative Hike 'N' Ride construction makes the transition between, well, hiking and riding easier—Hike mode has a softer flex and Ride mode is stiffer for heightened response and support—without losing performance in either. Adjustable forward lean complements the aforementioned options by allowing you to dial their flex levels, respectively, and the insanely grippy Vibram Backcountry Outsole has a molded crampon heel cup to securely fit semi-rigid crampons for those especially technical big-mountain lines.
