Their BD.dry 3-layer construction pairs a 17-denier stretch nylon face fabric with a jersey backer and a PFAS-free DWR finish, giving this shell a light feel without giving up waterproof, windproof, and breathable performance. The fabric is rated to 20,000 mm for waterproofing and 20,000 g/m2/24hr for breathability, so it is ready for sustained rain and changing mountain conditions. Fully taped seams, a sleek YKK Conceal front zipper, and adjustable cuffs and hem help seal out moisture when the forecast turns. Zippered underarm vents make it easy to dump heat on steep climbs or humid approaches, while the climbing-helmet-compatible hood adds coverage when the weather stays ugly. Two zippered hand pockets keep essentials close at hand, and the jacket packs into its own right-hand pocket for compact storage in a pack. At 352 grams, their Strataline keeps the profile streamlined and packable while still offering the robust protection needed for wet alpine and everyday outdoor missions.
