Black Diamond gave their Spark Mitts a warm, mountain-ready build made for long winter days and harsh weather. The mitt uses their BD.dry waterproof, breathable, and windproof construction with a 100% waterproof insert to help block out the elements. A full goat leather shell with a reinforced palm brings long-term durability to high-contact zones and adds a premium hand feel. Inside, internal finger slots improve dexterity, so the mitt keeps some of the control that is often lost in bulkier designs. PrimaLoft Gold insulation and a super-soft fleece lining work together to deliver deep-winter warmth with a comfortable interior. EVA foam padding across the back of the hand and knuckles adds impact protection for rougher days in the mountains. The under-jacket neoprene Freeride Cuff creates a close, secure fit that helps keep snow from creeping in. All together, their Spark Mitts are built to combine weatherproof protection, leather durability, and warmer-than-average comfort for resort laps, storm skiing, and winter travel.
