Over four inches of loft and a wide rectangular shape with vertical sidewalls give us the comfort of home, while the 7 R-value ensures we feel cozy whether it's a balmy summer night or a teeth-chattering winter morning. The built-in pump sack saves our breath when setting up, and the separate deflation valve simplifies breakdown. And although it's a bit much for backpacking, it can still roll up and pack away to keep plenty of space available in the car for all our other extras.
