The biting chill of an alpine shoulder season is no match for the Paria Thermodown 15, a piece of kit engineered to redefine how you approach rest in the backcountry. By shedding the restrictive constraints of a traditional mummy bag, this quilt offers the freedom to roll, sprawl, or side-sleep without fighting against tangled baffles. At its core, 700-fill water-resistant duck down traps body heat with surgical precision, while the 20D ripstop shell balances feathery weight with the durability required for rugged nights under the stars. When the mercury drops toward that 15-degree threshold, the oversized, down-filled neck baffle seals in warmth, and the cinchable foot box lets you dial in the exact thermal profile you need. Whether you are hunkering down during a high-elevation storm or stargazing from a ridgeline, the integrated strap system keeps the quilt anchored to your pad, ensuring you stay enveloped in a pocket of warmth regardless of how much you toss and turn. It is a streamlined, efficient, and exceptionally cozy solution for those who measure their trips in miles rather than amenities.
