Black Diamond built their Mission MX Mitts to deliver dependable warmth and weather protection in a streamlined mountain package. A 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX liner with Gore plus warm technology helps keep hands comfortable when storms roll in. The insulated build uses PrimaLoft Gold to provide serious cold-weather performance without losing mobility on the mountain. A reinforced goat leather palm adds durability in the high-wear zones, which is especially useful for pole grips, lift rides, and everyday winter handling. Rip-stop polyester and padding on the back of the hand help the mitt stand up to rough use while adding another layer of protection. The insulated cuff is designed to sit easily under a jacket sleeve, creating a cleaner seal against snow and wind. A wrist leash keeps the mitts close at hand during transitions, parking lot changes, or quick gear checks. With a 190-gram build and placement in their Freeride Series, this mitt blends stormproof coverage, solid durability, and mountain-focused warmth for all-day winter use.
