When the temperature drops and the wind starts to howl, your gear needs to pull double duty. SOL Fire Lite Reflective Tinder Cord acts as the silent workhorse of your pack, providing the rugged utility of a high-tensile braided nylon line for lashing down shelters or mending snapped straps, while concealing a secret weapon within its core. Tucked inside the sheath is a wax-impregnated cotton strand that flares to life at the first touch of a spark, even after being soaked in a downpour. Once the sun dips below the horizon, the integrated reflective tracers catch your headlamp beam, turning your guylines into beacons so you aren’t tripping over your setup in the dark. It is a fundamental piece of insurance for any trek, combining the structural necessity of cordage with the life-sustaining reliability of a fire starter.
