When the wind begins to bite and the morning air holds the promise of fresh powder, the Stio Hometown Down Hooded Jacket keeps the focus on the summit rather than the chill. Stuffed with high-loft down that traps heat without weighing them down, this jacket mimics the efficiency of technical mountaineering gear but scales it perfectly for the playground or the ski lift. The durable, wind-shedding exterior stands up to dense thickets and backyard fort building, while the integrated hood creates a private micro-climate when the gusts pick up. We designed the fit to glide easily over mid-layers, ensuring total mobility whether they are carving turns or navigating a frozen trail. With secure, zippered hand pockets to stash found treasures and elasticized cuffs that lock out snow, this is reliable, everyday armor for those who prefer the world outside to the comfort of the couch.
