The waterproof fabric is a discreet heathered gray, rather than the typical bright red, so we don't become a target in a chaotic situation where everyone is frantically grabbing first aid supplies. The roll-top closure creates a watertight seal and doesn't give the opportunity for a zipper blowout, while the side lash points let us attach additional gear we might want or need. Shipped to us ready to go, all we have to do is fill up the included 48-ounce Nalgene water bottle and slip our phone and charger cable into one of the waterproof pockets.
