The medium-stiff flex provides instant response and stability when we're navigating steep, technical terrain, and Karakoram was able to shave off a whopping 50 grams by switching the ankle strap over to the lighter, more comfortable Air-Pod strap. Plus, we appreciate that these backcountry binders feature Active Joining technology, which pulls the two halves of our splitboard together for a seamless feel on the descent.
