The morning dew has barely burned off the scree when you start the ascent, and the last thing you want is fabric that fights back. Mountain Hardwear built the Trail Sender to vanish the moment you pull it on, utilizing a whisper-light synthetic blend that brushes off sharp granite and dense underbrush without a second thought. These shorts thrive on the long-haul commitment of a thru-hike or the frantic pace of a technical scramble, offering a fluid range of motion that keeps up with high-output movement. With a streamlined pocket layout to stash a map or a handful of trail snacks, the design leans into utility while maintaining a clean, clutter-free profile.
