They build it with stretch 3-layer BD.dry fabric featuring a 100% nylon face, a wool-blend jersey backer, and a PFAS-free DWR treatment, creating a shell that is waterproof, breathable, windproof, and notably comfortable inside. The brushed microsuede collar adds a softer feel at the neck, while underarm gussets help preserve range of motion during aggressive skiing and all-day wear. Extended two-way armpit zip vents make it easier to dump heat on climbs or warm chairlift laps without fully opening the jacket. Storage is extensive, with two concealed-zip hand pockets, two concealed-zip chest pockets, two internal stretch-mesh drop pockets, and a lift-pass pocket on the left arm. An internal stretch powder skirt adds extra defense on deeper days, and custom-molded cuff tabs help fine-tune the seal at the wrists.
