Their design is packed with PrimaLoft Gold Active insulation and mapped through the body, shoulders, and arms so warmth is distributed where active users need it most. A 20D nylon stretch ripstop face fabric and stretch lining help the jacket move freely while also standing up to rough brush, talus, and regular use. Black Diamond also gave it an adjustable climbing-helmet-compatible hood, underarm gussets for added mobility, and a low-profile single-adjust hem to fine-tune the fit in changing conditions. The hoody stows into its internal chest pocket and includes a carabiner clip loop, which makes it especially convenient for harness-based objectives and pack-conscious missions. Two concealed-zip hand pockets keep the exterior clean while still offering everyday utility. At 326 grams, it delivers a substantial balance of warmth and breathability without drifting into overly bulky territory.
