The Durston X-Mid 2 Tent is a high-quality, ultralight shelter designed for those who love to explore the natural world. This tent is designed to be set up with stakes and two trekking poles and weighs in at just 35.4 oz, making it an excellent choice for backpackers and thru-hikers. The rain fly goes up first, meaning it can also be quickly set up as a temporary storm shelter (perfect for quick but torrential afternoon storms in the mountain west, for example). The only potential downside is that set up relies on stakes, so it is not an ideal choice for camping on snow, sand, slickrock, or any other surface where it will be hard or impossible to get tension from stakes. It is roomy enough inside for two people in the tent body and their gear in the vestibules, and the dual vestibules and doorways make it truly easy to live in it with another person!

This UnNew Durston X-Mid 2 Tent is in Excellent condition. 
 
Products in Excellent condition have seen minimal use and wear. Any imperfections are purely cosmetic and do not affect the intended performance of the product.  The previous owner included a note in the box that he owned it for about a year, used it once in the field, but found it not ideal for northeastern conditions.
