November Gear Roundup
And now, November. Can you believe it? We certainly can't. Here's to the start of frosty morning dawn patrols and late-night sessions at the climbing gym clipping bolts and prepping for the thaw to come. If you haven't done so already, now is the time to go through your gear closet and sort through what you need and what might not be working for you anymore. Maybe your skis just won't stand up to the backcountry terrain you plan on exploring this year, and maybe you need some new gloves anyway. Good thing we know a place where you can do double duty cleaning out your closet and grabbing new gear for the season... We're also still telling ourselves we'll plan ahead for the holidays and get our shopping done early... the jury is actually still out on that one, but in case you too are pledging to make the holidays a little easier on your mind (and wallet), we're dedicating this roundup to our favorite brands of the season that are on-site now to help you find something for everyone (including yourself!)
DPS
If you haven't heard, we're currently working with DPS, but that's not the only reason we're popping them in here. DPS has recently launched its trade-in program DPS Revive (powered by us at Geartrade) and it's an awesome way to upgrade to a new pair of skis (or upgrade somebody you care about) while still factoring in that eco-conscious mindset. DPS has been a leader in the industry since 2005 and is located right here in SLC! If you're into the whole "local" thing, this is a great option! Skis on-site are heavily discounted and, you'll get a credit for money off a brand new pair (through DPS) when you trade in your old skis through their program.
