Of all the signs that winter is on its way, perhaps the most stoke-inducing is the annual release of the new ski and snowboard films. There’s nothing like seeing your favorite pros ripping superhuman lines and stomping reality-shattering tricks to get you hyped for opening day at your local resort. And while Instagram edits may have shortened our collective attention span with the nonstop tidal wave of snowsports content available nearly year-round, there’s no substitute for the magic and artistry of a full-length film.
That’s why we pulled together this collection of trailers for some of the new snow flicks that have us most hyped for the coming season. Whether your proverbial boat is floated by big backcountry lines or creative inner-city shenanigans, there’s bound to be something on this list that gets you frothing for the snow to start falling.
Start making plans to attend a local premiere event with your crew, host your own premiere-night-slash-waxing-party, or simply block out some time on your calendar for streaming the latest drops when you should be working instead (not that we’d know anything about that).
