The same rule applies to Seattle, Maine, the Dakotas—pretty much anywhere the freezing rain falls or the cold wind blows. The Amfib loves foul winter weather, thanks to an almost neoprene-like waterproof and windproof face fabric, backed with soft, stretchy Thermafleece for comfort and insulation. Rear stretch panels in a nylon/polyester weave allow your legs to breathe and regulate temperature, but they don’t absorb water that can cause excessive cooling. Eight-inch ankle zippers allow you to don or remove the Amfib Tight over cycling shoes, and reflective hits increase your visible profile in low light.
