  • The Fortius 2.0 fabric used to make the Gamma MX is a membrane-free, seam-taped, wind-resistant, water-resistant four-way stretch woven fabric that's been laminated to a 4-way stretch fleece. So it’s very stretchy, very breathable, very tough and very weather-resistant, making it just about the best all-mountain softshell. The outer fabric features a durable water repellent coating to ensure light rain and snow beads off the surface.
  • You get a fleece-lined hood that will accommodate a climbing helmet, two hand pockets, one chest pocket and an adjustable hem drawcord to seal out the cold. Adjusting the hood is now easier than ever thanks to Cohaesive adjusters. These are like little buttons which sit within the fabric and can be adjusted with bulky gloves or mitts on. Not only are they cleaner, but less likely to catch and won't slap you in the face during high wind.
