The rhythmic crunch of gravel under tires and the sharp scent of pine needles mark the start of a long-haul day in the saddle. When you are deep in the backcountry, you need gear that disappears beneath you, and Assos TRAIL Cargo Shorts are built exactly for that level of seamless integration. Constructed from Type.OF11 woven textile, the fabric strikes a balance between airy breathability and the grit required to shrug off stray branches or trailside brush. The fit is dialed specifically for the geometry of an upright mountain bike position, providing the generous room needed to clear bulky knee pads without snagging or restrictive tension during technical climbs. With a water-repellent finish that wards off morning dew and dual zippered pockets tucked strategically to prevent gear bounce, these shorts turn your kit into a streamlined mobile outpost.
