The crisp morning air at the base of the mountain is often the only window of silence you’ll get, and the Atomic Maverick 96 CTI is built to turn that quiet anticipation into a high-speed masterclass on snow. Armed with an OMatic Core that pairs lightweight poplar with a precise Ti C-Frame, these 165cm skis offer a level of dampness and composure that makes navigating icy hardpack feel as intuitive as floating through light, wind-buffed glades. The Flow Profile blends camber and rocker to ensure the tips don't deflect when the terrain gets funky, while the World Cup base finish provides a friction-free glide that keeps your momentum steady through the transition from high alpine bowls to tracked-out groomers. Paired with the Strive 11 bindings, the setup feels remarkably light underfoot yet retains a rugged, directional backbone that thrives on technical descents.
