BaseWash beats detergents by not only effectively cleaning synthetic layers, but by deodorizing and inhibiting the build up of body odor. The conditioning in BaseWash accelerates drying and improves cooling efficiency of synthetic base layers for a piece that is going to smell fresh and perform better after a bath! Synthetic base layers are fantastic when it comes to creating a comfortable, dry, micro-climate next to your skin when you're working hard but wicking away body moisture and drying quickly. But over time bacteria and body oils can lead them to smell more than a little funky. Unfortunately, conventional detergents and conditions can impair the wicking properties of synthetic activewear.. the very reason you chose the synthetic piece in the first place... by causing the fabric to maintain, instead of release, moisture.
