Bataleon x Beyond Medals Tornado Snowboard 2026 - 161W

Silence the chatter of the chairlift and commit to the steepest, iciest face on the map with the Bataleon x Beyond Medals Tornado 2026. This is a deck built for those who treat the entire mountain like a blank canvas, blending a stiff, responsive backbone with the playful geometry of 3BT and SideKick technology. By lifting the sidebase contact points at the widest sections of the board, it offers a surprisingly fluid transition into turns that masks its aggressive personality, allowing you to charge high-speed groomers and land deep-snow drops without the fear of catching an edge. The Ultra Light Core reinforced with carbon stringers ensures that when you load up for a massive air, the energy return is immediate and explosive. Whether you are navigating technical chutes or stacking clips in the park, the sintered Hyper Glide S base keeps your momentum pinned, even in variable spring slush. It’s a purposeful, precision-engineered tool designed to handle the velocity of professional-grade riding while maintaining the soul of a board that simply loves to go fast.

TECH SPECS

• Rocker Type
  • Medium Camber: Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better
• Flex Rating
  • 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
• Shape
  • Directional twin
  • 3BT Triple Base Technology: Triple Base Technology is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.
  • SideKick: SideKick enhances the Triple Base concept by increasing the sidebase uplift just beyond the widest points of the nose and tail. This gives the tips a hull-like shape, improving float in deep snow and effortlessly cutting through crud. It also enables the board to roll smoothly and quickly from edge to edge.
  • Low Nose Uplift
  • Low Tail Uplift
• Core
  • Ultra Light Core: A 70/30 Paulownia and poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.
• Laminates
  • Tri-Ax Laminate: Bataleon's three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. It is used to beef up the flex pattern on more aggressive boards.
  • Carbon Stringers: Carbon is incredibly lightweight and delivers explosive pop, quick edge response, and exceptional dampening at high speeds. By incorporating carbon fiber stringers into the board’s construction, we can fine-tune the flex and elevate your ride to the next level. We strategically place carbon stringers in specific areas of the board to fine-tune the feel of each model.
  • D.R.S.T. Super Tubes: Dual Radial Super Tubes, similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running parallel to the board radius, delivering extra power to the edges.
• Sidewalls
  • Flex Walls: Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride
