When the ridgeline narrows and the wind begins to pick up, the Black Crows Mentis Freebird 164cm becomes an extension of your own ambition. These skis are engineered for the long haul, stripping away unnecessary weight to make those high-alpine approaches feel like a glide rather than a grind. The Paulownia wood core keeps your legs fresh for the descent, while the semi-cap fiberglass construction provides the backbone needed to hold a confident edge when the snow transitions from blower powder to firm, wind-scoured crust. With the Marker Alpinist 10 Demo bindings pre-mounted, you get a system that prioritizes security without adding bulk, allowing you to focus on the technical lines and steep, commitment-heavy pitches ahead.
