Deep, wind-buffeted bowls call for a ski that refuses to fight the terrain, and the Black Crows Nocta is built to surrender to the mountain’s flow. By pairing this full reverse camber platform with Atomic Strive 13 bindings, you gain an intuitive setup that sheds the traditional rigidity of big-mountain boards in favor of pure, frictionless movement. The poplar core and biaxial glass fiber layup offer a deliberate, lively snap that keeps you floating on top of the snowpack rather than sinking into it. Whether you are navigating tight glades where quick pivots are non-negotiable or holding a high-speed line through wide-open, untouched faces, the ski maintains a surf-like composure that makes deep days feel effortless. The semi-cap construction balances the need for damp stability with a nimble personality, ensuring that when you encounter the occasional transition from soft powder to variable backcountry exit paths, the gear remains predictable and composed. This is a rig designed for those who view the mountain as a canvas, prioritizing a smooth, intuitive ride that turns technical backcountry descents into a series of graceful, fluid arcs.
