They insulate it with 800-fill RDS-certified goose down, giving the parka lofty warmth while keeping the overall package relatively light and compressible. A 20-denier nylon plain-weave shell and debossed ripstop lining create a durable yet lightweight construction, and the PFAS-free DWR finish helps the outer fabric resist light moisture. The protective hood includes an internal brim for added coverage in wind, cold, or light precipitation. Two zippered hand pockets and an internal zippered chest pocket handle daily essentials without overcomplicating the design. Stretch knit cuffs improve comfort and make layering with gloves or other cold-weather pieces easier.
