The lightweight 80 gsm nylon-and-elastane fabric keeps the jacket moving naturally with the body, and the updated silhouette is intended to increase range of motion on technical terrain. An adjustable hood is compatible with a climbing helmet, making it easier to leave the layer on when conditions turn rough along ridgelines or exposed pitches. Elasticized finishes at the hood, cuffs, and hem help secure the fit and hold in warmth without relying on bulky hardware. Black Diamond also includes a drop hem for better coverage under a harness, and the jacket stows into its chest pocket with a carabiner clip loop for easy carry.
