Your ice axe is a precision instrument, not a blunt tool, so treat it with the respect it earns on steep, frozen pitches. The Black Diamond Axe Protector wraps snugly around the business end of your tool, shielding your pack’s interior from jagged pick and adze edges during the long approach or a frantic transition. Whether you are trekking deep into a remote alpine basin or shoving gear into a cramped trunk, this cover eliminates the worry of shredded nylon and nicked metal. It is a simple, no-nonsense piece of insurance that keeps your edges razor-sharp and your kit unscathed, ensuring that when the slope steepens and the ice turns brittle, your gear is ready to perform exactly as intended.
