The Black Diamond Crag 40L Backpack balances the brutal utility of a hauler with the streamlined efficiency required for long sessions at the cliff. Instead of rummaging blindly, the full-length side zipper allows you to bypass the top-loading cinch-skirt when you need to grab a specific cam or a spare jacket buried near the bottom. The integrated rope strap locks your cord down tight against the exterior, leaving the cavernous main compartment free for bulky layers. Built with a supportive suspension system that stays comfortable during the trek in, this pack takes the friction out of your approach so you can save your focus for the sharp end of the rope.
