The morning air at the base of the wall bites with enough chill to stiffen your fingers, but the Black Diamond Crag Hoody cuts through the cold without forcing you to shed layers the moment you pull onto the rock. This isn't your average heavy fleece; it’s engineered with a focus on thermoregulation, allowing heat to escape during high-output sequences while locking in just enough warmth for long, static belays. The articulated cut works in tandem with your reach, ensuring that every dynamic move feels fluid rather than restricted by bulky fabric. Whether you’re dialing in a project under a gray sky or warming up inside the gym, the full-zip design provides instant temperature control, while the integrated hood seals out drafts the second you step away from the anchors. It hits that elusive sweet spot of durability and lightweight comfort, serving as a reliable companion that transitions seamlessly from the crag to the drive home.
