Their BD.dry 3-layer construction delivers waterproof, breathable, and windproof coverage, and the lightweight ripstop fabric keeps the build durable without adding unnecessary bulk. A snow-helmet-compatible adjustable hood, adjustable hem, and Velcro cuffs help seal out weather when conditions get rowdy. Pit zips make temperature control easier on skin tracks and bootpacks, while the ventilated draft flap at the mouth adds another way to regulate heat. The pocket layout is practical for mountain use, with Aquaguard zippered hand pockets sized to stay pack compatible plus a left sleeve pass pocket. Black Diamond also included an interior center-back snap tab that interfaces with pants for a more connected setup.
