Chalk dust settles on the limestone, but these Notion Shorts from Black Diamond remain unfazed by the grit. Crafted from a supple organic cotton stretch twill, the fabric moves with a fluidity that ignores the constraints of technical high-steps and deep, awkward reaches. The low-profile construction sits flush against the hips, eliminating the bulk that typically interferes with a harness during long afternoons spent projecting boulders or navigating steep gym walls. With reinforced seat paneling to withstand repetitive friction against abrasive rock and a pocket layout that keeps essentials secure without getting in the way, these are built for those who prefer their gear to be as functional as it is unassuming. Whether you are navigating a tricky crux or simply transitioning to the post-send cooldown, the breathability and natural feel offer a level of reliable comfort that makes you forget you’re wearing them until the moment you need them most.
