They use a 20D nylon shell and a lightweight polyester lining, and both fabrics are finished with PFAS-free DWR to help resist wind and light moisture. Inside, 60 grams of PrimaLoft Gold Eco synthetic insulation gives it dependable warmth without making the hoody feel heavy or overly bulky. Their protective hood adds another layer of defense when the weather shifts, making it a strong option for cool trail starts, camp mornings, and everyday wear. Two zippered hand pockets and an external zippered chest pocket keep essentials organized, while stretch knit cuffs help hold warmth in place. Black Diamond also designed it to pack into the left hand pocket, which makes it easy to toss in a pack when temperatures rise later in the day.
