The granite feels warm and solid beneath your feet as you navigate the final scramble toward the base of the climb. Black Diamond built the Technician Pro for those moments when the trail dissolves into jagged rock and intuition takes over. By integrating ultra-breathable Matryx material into the upper, these shoes manage the heat of a long hike while shrugging off the sharp, abrasive scree that ruins lesser footwear.
