The Elan Wildcat 86 CX Women's Skis were designed for women who spend most of their time carving up the front side of the mountain. The CX has a forgiving flex and a carving specific build. At 86- millimeters under foot, you are getting up to the all-mountain category but the shape and overall performance generally lean to the front side and carving realms. Built with Elan's TrueLine technology, the skis have more material over the inside edges and less over the outside. By placing the bulk of the mass over the insides of the skis, Elan has created greater edge grip without compromising the weight or heft of the ski. With the outside portions of the ski lighter and more flexible, the skis transition between turns very easily and smoothly. This gives the skier a ton of control and confidence when diving and driving into those carves. The wood core has Elan's signature carbon rods that keep the ski on the straight and narrow all while keeping the overall weight to a minimum. For carving skis and how stable they are, you will be amazed how light they feel on your feet. For advanced women skiers who really like to leave their signature on the trail with trenches, the Elan Wildcat 86 CX Women's Skis will certainly leave its mark on resort corduroy east or west.
