As the first trail shoe to feature the DNA Flash midsole from Brooks, the Catamount Trail Running Shoe is a lightweight ride designed for fast-paced performance on the trails. A suede reinforcement lining is paired with a half-bootie tongue to lock your foot into the shoe, and to keep out debris, while drainage points throughout the upper disperse water and sweat to keep your feet dry. The midsole, constructed from proprietary DNA material, is infused with nitrogen to produce what Brooks refers to as DNA Flash—an incredibly responsive composite material that feels secure and supportive on technical terrain. The outsole is surfaced with 3.5mm lugs for optimal traction when conditions on the trail turn dicey.
