Salt spray in the air and the rhythmic slap of waves against the hull dictate the pace of the day, but the sun’s intensity is the one variable you can control. The Columbia PFG Solar Stream Hoodie acts as a second skin that takes the sting out of high-noon glare without ever feeling heavy or restrictive. Engineered with Omni-Shade Broad Spectrum UPF 50, the fabric creates a reliable barrier against harsh rays, while the Omni-Wick technology actively pulls moisture away from the skin to keep you dry through humid afternoons and intense casting sessions. The silhouette leans into functional movement, featuring thumbholes that extend protection down to the knuckles and a streamlined hood that settles comfortably to shield the neck when the light shifts. Whether you are navigating marshy flats or heading out for a long day on open water, this piece balances technical performance with a soft, airy feel that makes you forget you are wearing a long-sleeve layer at all.
